✨ Funky Fragments Glass – Workshop & Course Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all Funky Fragments Glass workshops and multi-week courses.

By booking a class, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

  1. About Us

Funky Fragments Glass (“we”, “us”, “our”) is based in Kapunda, South Australia.

  1. Payment
  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
  • Payment must be made at the time of booking via secure methods (Stripe, PayPal, Afterpay, or credit card).
  • Your booking is confirmed once payment is received.
  • Course and workshop fees vary — please see individual listings for current pricing.
  1. Attendance & Booking Info
  • Class sizes are kept small to ensure plenty of one-on-one help. Your booking reserves your seat for the full course or workshop.
  • Multi-week courses are step-by-step, with each week building on the last — you’ll get the most out of it by attending all sessions.
  • If you can’t make the scheduled dates, it’s best to wait for the next round so you don’t miss key steps.
  1. Workshop Readiness
  • Workshops (e.g. Make & Takes): Suitable for ages 11+ with a supervising adult (one adult may supervise up to two children).
  • Multi-week courses (e.g. Beginner Copper Foil, Leadlight): Suitable for ages 16+.
  • Participants must be able to:
    • Stand at a workbench for stretches of time
    • Use their hands and grip for cutting/shaping
    • Follow step-by-step safety instructions
    • Closed-in shoes, tied-back hair, and no loose sleeves are required.
    • If unsure, please contact me before booking.
  1. Make-Up Lessons & Catch-Ups (Multi-Week Courses)
  • Make-up lessons are not included.
  • If illness or other circumstances prevent attendance, a short recap can be provided before the next class.
  • Extra studio time may be booked for $30/hour (subject to availability).
  1. Cancellations & Refunds
  • Once your booking is confirmed, it is non-refundable.
  • If you cancel more than 14 days before the start date, a refund may be issued (minus a $30 admin fee) if your spot can be filled.
  • Bookings may be transferred to another available date with at least 7 days’ notice (subject to availability).
  1. Safety & Behaviour
  • Participants must follow all safety instructions during sessions.
  • For workshops, participants aged 11–14 must attend with a supervising adult.
  • Closed-in shoes must be worn at all times.
  • We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone behaving in a disruptive or unsafe manner.
  1. Media & Photography
  • We love sharing the creative process! Photos and short videos may be taken during classes for promotional purposes (website, social media, printed materials).
  • If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please let us know before the class begins.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in our classes, except where required by law.
  • You are responsible for your own safety when using tools and materials provided.
  1. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective once posted on this website. Please check back regularly.
