Clean breaks and controlled shaping.
Grozers break glass along a score line and nibble edges with precision — ideal when hand-breaking isn’t practical.
Grozers are a versatile, precision tool designed for breaking glass along a score line and shaping edges during stained glass work.
Grozers for Stained Glass
These classic grozers are ideal when glass can’t be comfortably broken by hand, especially for longer strips and awkward pieces. The wider 3/8″ jaws provide excellent leverage, making clean breaks easier when working with larger sections of glass.
Use the flat jaw side to snap glass cleanly along a good score line. Flip the pliers over to use the serrated grozing jaw, designed for the “chewing” action that nibbles away small amounts of glass to refine edges and shapes.
Spring-loaded jaws make them comfortable to use, while the compact size gives you control without sacrificing strength.
